Actor Kalyani Priyadarshan, who completed five years in the industry as an actor, penned a thank you note, and expressed her gratitude.

Interestingly, Kalyani, who is the daughter of ace Malayalam director Priyadarshan, made her acting debut with the 2017 Telugu romantic action film Hello, opposite Akhil Akkineni.  The film released on December 22, 2017.

On her five-year landmark, Kalyani wrote, "Today marks five years for me in the industry with you guys. I'm so grateful for every bit of growth I’ve had (with the successes as well as in my craft). I'm grateful for every new fan, for every new bit of love that is coming my way.” She added, “And I'm even more grateful to the fans that have stuck around from day one and been on this journey with me for the last five years across languages, across genres. You know who you are. I know who you are. I hope to continue to grow over the coming years and you guys with me.”

In her five-year journey, Kalyani has acted in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. In 2022, the actor was seen in three Malayalam films - Hridayam, Bro Daddy and Thallumaala, out of which two were box office successes, while Bro Daddy received mixed responses. The actor also co-starred alongside Silambarasan in commercially successful Maanaadu. Meanwhile, Kalyani is currently working on Malayalam film Sesham Mikeil Fathima.
