1744 White Alto selected for International Film Festival Rotterdam

Senna Hegde's 1744 White Alto has been selected to be a part of the Harbour programme at International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).

Starring Sharafudheen the lead, the film is a comic caper scripted by Senna and the film's cinematographer Sreeraj Raveendran. Arjunan has penned the additional screenplay.

1744 White Alto is set in an unspecified place in Northern Kerala. The film follows the intertwining stories of two crooks on the run, an alcoholic facing a case of mistaken identity, and a noble policeman trying to put an end to the madness. Hitting screens on 18 November, the film opened to average response.

The cast also features Rajesh Madhavan, Vincy Aloshious, Arun Kurian, Sajin Cherukayil, Renji Kankol, Navas Vallikkunnu, Anand Manmadhan, Arya Salim, Joji John, Nilja K Baby, Ranji Kankol and Sminu Sijo.

1744 White Alto is jointly backed by Mrinal Mukundan, Sreejith Nair, and Vinod Divakar under the banner of Kabinii Films.
