The first look poster for the upcoming Malayalam film Thankam has been released online. The film stars Biju Menon and Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead roles. It was earlier reported that the film wrapped its shooting in September. Thankam is directed by Saheedh Arafath who is best known for co-directing Joji, he made his directorial debut with the 2017 film Theeram.

Billed as a crime drama, the film is based on a script written by Syam Pushkaran. Gautham Sankar has handled the cinematography for the film while the music has been composed by Bijibal. The editing for the film is handled by Kiran Das.

Vineeth Sreenivasan recently appeared in the critically acclaimed Mukundan Unni Associates while Biju Menon was last seen in Oru Thekkan Thallu Case. The cast of the film also includes Aparna Balamurali, Dileesh Pothan, and Girish Kulkarni. Although Thankam is expected to release in 2023, the makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
