Momo in Dubai passes through censor formalities

Momo in Dubai, the upcoming Malayalam film starring Anu Sithara, Aneesh G Menon and Johnny Antony, has been censored with a U certificate.

Directed by debutant Ameen Aslam, the film is produced by Zakariya, Harris Desom, PB Anish and Nahla Al Fahad under the Imagin CInemas, Cross Border Camera and Beyond Studios banner.

Last month, the makers released the film's motion poster on Children's day. Billed as a children's film, Momo In Dubai's motion poster featured animated visuals of houses, aeroplanes flying over skyscrapers and more vibrant and colourful elements that grab children's attention. At the backdrop, we can listen to a conversation between Momo and his friends. Momo tells his friends that he is leaving for Dubai. With this glimpse, it looks like Momo In Dubai is a fun-filled children's drama and a family entertainer that revolves around a relocation of a young boy and his family.

Momo In Dubai is co-written by Ashif Kakkodi and Zakariya. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Sajith Purushan, music composers Jassie Gift and Gafoor M Khayyam, editor Ratheesh Raj and lyricists BK Harinarayanan. The makers noted that the film will release soon in the theatres.
