Malayalam actor Nandu Poduval starts shooting for Indian 2

As per reports, Nandu is replacing the late Nedumudi Vendu, who had a crucial role in the first part, Indian (1996)

Shoot for the Shankar, Kamal Haasan film Indian 2 got resumed recently after almost 2 years. Actors like Bobby Simhaa, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh have already started shooting for the film. Latest to join the sets is Malayalam actor Nandu Poduval.

As per reports, Nandu is replacing the late Nedumudi Vendu, who had a crucial role in the first part, Indian (1996). The veteran had shot for a few portions for Indian 2 as well before his untimely passing away last year. It is said that the makers have roped in Nandu, who is a lookalike of Nedumudi Venu, to complete the remaining portions.

Indian 2 also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Guru Somasundaram, and Samuthirakani in prominent roles. Produced by Lyca Productions and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, the film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Ravi Varman is the cinematographer and Sreekar Prasad is serving as the editor.
