The first look of Christopher, Mammootty's upcoming film with director B Unnikrishnan will be out on September 6, a day ahead of the star's birthday.

Billed as a thriller based on real incidents, the film is scripted by Udayakrishna (Pulimurugan). It reportedly has Mammootty playing a cop's role. The film even comes with the tagline 'Biography of a Vigilante Cop'.

Christopher has Sneha, Amala Paul, and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female leads. Vinay Rai (Doctor, Thupparivalan) has been cast as the principal antagonist in the film, which marks the actor's maiden Malayalam project. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, and Siddique, among others.

Operation Java-fame Faiz Siddik is the cinematographer and Justin Varghese (Joji, Ajagajantharam) is working on the music. B Unnikrishnan's frequent collaborator Manoj is the editor. The director's own banner RD Illuminations and Aroma Mohan are jointly producing the film.
