Alphonse Puthren's new film Gold is set to release in theatres this Onam, on September 8. 

Starring Prithviraj and Nayanthara as the leads, the film is produced by Magic Frames and Prithviraj Productions. It also features Lalu Alex, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt, Jagadish, Baburaj, Shine Tom Chacko, Prem Kumar, Mallika Sukumaran, Shammi Thilakan, Deepti Sathi, Shanti Krishna, and Roshan Mathew among others.

Gold has music by Rajesh Murukesan, and cinematography by Anend C Chandran and Viswajith Odukathil.
