Following the release of the first look poster, director M Padmakumar's Pathaam Valavu now has a second look that conveys the family drama aspect of the film which is touted as a thriller based on true events. Suraj Venjaramoodu and Aditi Ravi feature in the poster.

Indrajith Sukumaran plays the other lead in the film bankrolled by UGM Entertainment.

Abhilash Pillai scripted the film, which also has Swasika Vijay as one of the female leads.

Ratheesh Ram, who worked under cinematographer Shaji Kumar, is behind the camera while Shameer Muhammed handles the editing. Ranjin Raj is working on the music.

Dr Zachariah Thomas, Jijo Kavanal, Sreejith Ramachandran, and Prince Paul jointly back the film with Mumbai Movie Studios
