Mohanlal-starrer Aaraattu's trailer release date was announced by the star on his Twitter account on December 25, Saturday.

Aaraattu's trailer will be released on the occasion of the New Year at 11 am. Mohanlal wrote on Twitter, "The rhythmic pulse of fist-clenching fights and badass brawls, all back in action. The Official Trailer of #Aaraattu releasing on January 1st, 2022 at 11:00 am! Stay tuned!"

Aaraattu is scheduled to release theatrically on February 10. The film is directed by B Unnikrishnan and penned by Udhayakrishna. The dubbing for the film concluded recently on December 17.

B Unnikrishnan's frequent collaborator Shameer Muhammed is editing the film, while Vijay Ulaganath is handling the cinematography. Rahul Raj is the music composer of this project.

Mohanlal was last seen in the film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which had been panned by the critics. The film was released on Amazon on December 17. Mohanlal also has an interesting line-up of films in which he is set to star. This includes Jeethu Joseph's directorial RAM.
