It is confirmed that actor Ramya Pandiyan, who shot to fame after her stint at Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4, has been roped in for Malayalam superstar Mammootty's upcoming film with Lijo Pellissery. Titled Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, the film is touted to be a family entertainer. 

Ramaya made the announcement on Twitter. She wrote, "I am glad to officially announce that my next project is in Malayalam. To have an opportunity to work with the critically acclaimed and the most influential director Lijo Jose Pellissery and Megastar Mammootty has been a dream come true."

The crew has wrapped up the shoot after filming in parts of Tamil Nadu. The team was spotted in Palani, and many photos from the sets are making the rounds on social media. 

Ramya Pandian has earlier acted in Tamil films Joker, Aan Devathai, and Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum. She is also part of an upcoming film named Idumbankaari.
