The crime thriller Rakkasapuradhol, which had a theatrical run, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The film began streaming on September 11, allowing viewers who missed its theatrical release to watch it on OTT.

The film’s OTT release was confirmed by actor Aniruddh Bhat through a video message. He said several viewers had been asking about the film’s digital premiere and that he previously did not have an update to share.

“Many people had been asking when Rakkasapuradhol’ would come to OTT. I didn’t have an answer then. The film is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video,” Aniruddh said, while urging audiences to watch the film and support the team.

Directed by Ravi Sarang and produced by stuntmaster Ravivarma, Rakkasapuradhol features Raj B Shetty in the lead role. The film combines elements of crime, mystery and the supernatural, with its narrative centred on a series of unexplained murders in a village.

Raj B. Shetty plays a police officer who is dealing with mental health issues and is transferred to Rakkasapura. Soon after his arrival, a series of murders takes place in the village, drawing him into an investigation that gradually becomes more complicated.

While the initial premise points towards a conventional murder investigation, the film introduces supernatural elements as the mystery develops. The narrative raises the question of whether the killings have a human explanation or are connected to an unseen force.

With its theatrical run now followed by its digital release, Rakkasapuradhol is available for audiences to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Those who had been waiting for the OTT premiere can now revisit the film or experience the crime thriller for the first time.
