While Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is gearing up for release, a new update regarding the ambitious project has emerged. Apart from stepping into the shoes of Ravana and co-producing the project, Yash has expanded his footprint on the venture. Yash's home banner, Monster Mind Creations, will officially handle the film's theatrical release across Karnataka. 

The magnum opus features a star-studded ensemble, with Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Arun Govil as King Dasharatha, alongside Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh in prominent roles. Producer Namit Malhotra (DNEG) has mounted the film on an unprecedented scale in collaboration with Yash, with cutting-edge visual effects and high-end technical craft designed specifically for premium formats, including 3D.

The makers have confirmed that the ticket sales for early morning shows in Karnataka will kick off on October 28 at 10:00 AM. Ramayana is currently scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5.
