This makers of upcoming film, Miss Match have released the film’s first single, titled ‘Chalisithu Moda’, on the occasion of Vijayadashami.

Composed by Judah Sandhy, the melody features lyrics penned by lyricist Nagarjun Sharma (Avane Srimannarayana, Kavaludaari) and vocals by Sapta Sagaradaache Ello-fame Srilakshmi Belmannu. The track also marks the debut release under the newly launched music label arm of Tejas Publications, which holds the audio rights for the entire album.

Producer Tejas Venkatesh, who founded Tejas Publications in 2012 with his Kannada poetry collection Bhavodwegagala Pratibimba, took a break from his decade-long career in the artificial intelligence sector to venture into film production with Miss Match. He shared that the decision to branch into an independent record label stemmed from Judah Sandhy’s score, adding that the platform aims to support emerging independent musicians, singers, and songwriters going forward.

Directed by Sai Srinidhi, Miss Match is billed as a family romantic comedy set against the backdrop of the Malnad region. The film features Kaushik Gowda and Ashwitha Hegde in the lead, supported by Tejesh, Amrutha, Aniruddh Acharya, Nagendra Shah, and Lakshmi Siddaiah.
