Over 4,000 hopeful actors turn up for Rishab Shetty Films’ mega audition in Bengaluru

Rishab Shetty Films is well known for backing good stories and giving chances to fresh talent. Over the years, the banner has produced memorable films like Sarkari Hi Pra Shaale, Kasaragodu, Katha Sangama, Hero, Pedro, Shivamma, and Laughing Buddha. Continuing this tradition of finding new faces, the production house recently held an open casting call for its upcoming project, and the response was huge.

The audition took place at Vijaya College in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The team invited men aged 20 to 65 and women aged 20 to 60. To everyone’s surprise, more than 4,000 aspiring actors showed up throughout the day. It turned into one of the biggest casting turnouts seen in recent times, with long lines of people waiting patiently for their screen tests.

The crowd brought together people from all walks of life. Young college students, seasoned stage actors, and everyday cinema lovers who had never acted before all came together under one roof, hoping to land a role.
