The Raj B Shetty-starrer Rakkasapuradhol has completed 25 days in theatres, and the makers say the thriller is now moving toward the 50-day run in several centres.

Directed by Ravi Saranga and produced by stunt director Ravi Varma in his first production venture, the film released earlier this year and is being screened continuously.

The film features Raj B Shetty, Aniruddha Bhat, Archana Kottige, and Swathishta Krishnan in key roles. Billed as a thriller, the film has largely relied on word-of-mouth and weekend footfall to sustain its run.

According to the makers, Rakkasapuradhol is currently popular in multiplex chains and select centres across Karnataka. While the Kannada industry has seen shorter theatrical windows in recent years, the film’s run has extended beyond the usual two-week cycle that has been the case for most releases.

Trade reports circulating within the industry also suggest that the film has recovered its production costs through theatrical collections, though official box-office figures are yet to be disclosed, and the makers are expected to share detailed collection figures and address the film’s performance soon.
