'Tabaahi' opens the musical chapter of Toxic with mystery intact

Toxic is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations and is slated to hit screens on March 19

The first single 'Tabaahi' from Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, has been released. Fronted by Yash, the track is out in five languages, retaining the same striking title across versions.

While Vishal Mishra has composed and sung all versions of 'Tabaahi', five lyricists have come together to write the song. Yogaraj Bhat has written the Kannada version, Vignesh Shivan has written the Tamil version, Ramajogayya Sastry has written the Telugu version, and Rafeeq Ahammed, the Malayalam version.

With Toxic directed by Geetu Mohandas mounted as a large scale project, even a few frames could have offered clues about its storyline. By avoiding visuals altogether, the team has ensured that the mystery remains intact while still giving fans a taste of the film’s musical palette. The song title itself, meaning destruction, hints at the film’s edgy tonality without revealing context.

The film is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations and is slated to hit screens on March 19.

The film also features Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria as part of its ensemble cast. The crew also consists of Ravi Basrur is also contributing to the music and Rajeev Ravi handling cinematography.
