The makers of Jockey 42, directed by Gurutej Shetty and starring Kiran Raj in the lead, have released the film's first song, offering a glimpse into its romantic side.

Titled 'Mutthu Mutthu Mathaayitha', the melody is penned by Nagarjuna Sharma and composed by Vinod Yajamanya. Adding to its appeal are acclaimed Bollywood playback singers Armaan Malik and Palak Muchhal, whose vocals bring the romantic number to life.

Produced by Bharathi Sathyanarayana under the Golden Gate Studio banner, Jockey 42 is written and directed by Gurutej Shetty, who has also penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues.

Set against the backdrop of horse racing, the film is believed to be one of the first Indian films to explore the sport as its central theme. The teaser, released earlier, generated curiosity for its unique premise and impressive making, while the first song has also been well received by audiences.

The film stars Kiran Raj, Hrithik Srinivas, Yukta, Deepak Rai, Rajendra Karanth, Chetan Rai Mani, Madhusudhan Rao, Girish Hegde, Arun Achar, and others in pivotal roles.

With cinematography by Raghavendra Kolar and editing by Umesh RB, Jockey 42 is currently in the final stages of post-production. The makers are expected to announce the film's release date soon.
