Nodidavaru Enanthare wins warm response at Bengaluru International Film Festival

Members of the film’s team interacted with the media at BIFFes and talked about the audience response for it

The film Nodidavaru Enanthare, starring Naveen Shankar in the lead and directed by Kuldeep Kariyappa, was screened in the Popular Kannada Cinema section at the 17th Bengaluru International Film Festival. Following the screening, members of the Kannada film’s team interacted with the media and talked about the audience response for the film.

Director Kuldeep Kariyappa expressed happiness over the reception the film received. “Audiences who watched the film in theatres appreciated it, and we are now receiving an equally positive response at the film festival as well,” he said, adding that the festival screening gave the film a renewed platform to reach a wider audience.

Lead actor Naveen Shankar said it was special to see the film showcased at what he described as a celebration of cinema. “Our film has been screened at this year’s Bengaluru International Film Festival, which is often called a festival of films. Viewers who watched Nodidavaru Enanthare here responded warmly, and that means a lot to us,” he said.

Actress Apoorva Bharadwaj shared a more personal connection with the festival. “Earlier, I had worked as a volunteer at the Bengaluru International Film Festival. This time, it is truly joyful to have a film in which I play the lead screened at the same festival,” she said, calling the moment a fulfilling milestone in her journey.

Producer Nagesh Gopal also expressed his gratitude, saying he was happy that a film from his production had found a place at an international platform like BIFFes. He thanked the organisers for providing the opportunity to present Nodidavaru Enanthare to festival audiences.

The screening of Nodidavaru Enanthare at BIFFES marked a proud moment for the team, reinforcing the film’s resonance with audiences and underlining the festival’s role in celebrating meaningful Kannada cinema.
