The Tamil Nadu distribution rights of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have been finalised with a ₹63 crore advance on a commission basis. The film will follow a structured multi-distributor model across Tamil Nadu.

Distribution in Chennai, will be handled by Think Studios under Swarup Reddy. While distribution in Chengalpet will be handled by White Nights, led by Trident Ravi. The Coimbatore region, along with North and South Arcot, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari, will be managed by S Picture Srinivasan. In Madurai, Ramnad, Trichy, Thanjavur, and Salem will be overseen by 5 Star Senthil.

Sharing their thoughts on the collaboration, the Tamil Nadu distribution partners said the film is among the most awaited Indian releases in recent times. They noted that the response to Yash in Tamil Nadu has consistently been strong and expressed confidence that the film’s scale and appeal will connect widely with audiences. Trade circles attribute the scale of the deal to the continued popularity of KGF: Chapter 2 and Yash’s steady rise in the Tamil market.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. Dubbed versions of the film are to be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. The film is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19.

The ensemble cast includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
