Road rage has become an increasingly common sight in Bengaluru, with minor traffic disputes often escalating into heated confrontations. Hoping to draw attention to the issue through cinema, director Surya has made the short film Road Rage, which was officially released on the Sai Gagan YouTube channel.

The film received the backing of Roaring Star Sriimurali, who lent his support to the awareness initiative. The launch was attended by Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh, who unveiled the short film in the presence of the cast and crew.

Dialogue writer Masthi, actor Suchendra Prasad, and producer Lahari Velu were also present at the event.

Speaking after the launch, Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said that more films that create public awareness should be encouraged. Congratulating the team, he added that similar initiatives focusing on issues such as drug abuse would also benefit society.

Masthi said writing for socially relevant films is personally fulfilling. "If we let go of our ego, life becomes beautiful," he said, referring to the message the film seeks to convey.

Produced by Rajashekhar Somashekhar under the Sri Sai Gagan Distributor banner, Road Rage stars Gagan Shekhar, Aadi, Sameer Acharya, Adya, Yoshitha, and Manu. The film has music by Pavan Rao and cinematography by Pramod Kotyan.

With road rage incidents continuing to make headlines in Bengaluru, the makers hope the short film will encourage motorists to remain calm and drive responsibly.
