On the occasion of Dr Rajkumar’s birth anniversary, the makers of Shivarajkumar’s upcoming film unveiled the first look and title of the project. The film, which has been titled Bail, and the title has already created a strong buzz among audiences.
This ambitious project brings together Shivarajkumar and director Pawan Wadeyar, with production by Venkat K Narayana under the KVN Productions banner. The collaboration is being seen as a notable pairing of a leading star and filmmaker, raising expectations around the project.
The first look poster, released as part of the anniversary celebrations, features Shivarajkumar standing in the rain holding an umbrella. While it does not reveal much about the story or tone, the visual has sparked curiosity and set the stage for further updates.
Director Pawan Wadeyar, known for films like Govindaya Namaha, Googly, Rana Vikrama, Natasaarvabhowma, and Remo, is teaming up with Shivarajkumar for the first time. Calling it a long-awaited dream collaboration, he said the film will present the actor in a completely new avatar, with the teaser expected soon.
Producer Venkat K Narayana added that Bail is a special project for the banner, combining strong storytelling with a distinct cinematic vision. He also noted that working with both Pawan Wadeyar and Shivarajkumar is an honour, with the team aiming to present the star in a fresh perspective for audiences.
Bail also features a strong supporting cast, including Malayalam actor Jayaram, who returns to Kannada cinema after Ghost. The film also stars Deekshith Shetty in a prominent role, with Sanjana Anand as the female lead. Actors Saikumar and Gopal Krishna Deshpande are also part of the ensemble cast.
Apart from Bail, Shivarajkumar has several other projects lined up. His film Daddy is gearing up for release. He is also part of big projects like Jailer 2 alongside Rajinikanth and Peddi with Ram Charan. He is currently shooting for Gummadi Narasaiah, and will soon begin work on A for Anand, directed by Srini, as well as a project with Sathya Jyothi Films directed by M Saravanan.
