Kannada music is slowly warming up to the album culture, and leading that shift is 'Manadani', a freshly released romantic single. Upcoming Tulu talent Shrikant Ganesh not only directed the number but also acted in it while taking on the responsibilities of production.
'Manadani' is a collaborative effort by a group of young voices determined to bring freshness to the regional music space. With evocative lines and an arresting melody, the song has struck a chord with early listeners. For Ganesh, who carries over a decade of experience in cinema, this project marks yet another creative feat. Audiences will remember him from films such as Shivalinga and Terrorist, and from his work in popular television serials like Agni Sakshi and Gruhalakshmi. He has also appeared in a short film and directed a Malayalam album track, making him no stranger to experimental formats. With 'Manadani', Ganesh expands his repertoire by wearing multiple hats with ease.
The track pairs him opposite Mangaluru-based newcomer Shraddha Gowda, and together they bring to life a story of love woven into simple yet soothing visuals. Shot against the scenic backdrops of Bengaluru, the song captures a charm that feels both intimate and cinematic.
The team behind the project includes lyricist Pratap Bhat, singer Rajath Hegde, and music composer Raghotham NS Cinematography is by Shivashankar Noorambada, while Srujan Belli has handled the editing.
The song is now available on Monk Studio’s YouTube channel.
