The buzz around Cult, starring Zaid Khan, Rachita Ram, and Malaika Vasupal, continues to build at a steady pace. The action-romance has wrapped filming, and its first musical track is out.

The soundtrack, composed by Arjun Janya, has already drawn attention. Director Anil Kumar, who has also written the lyrics, describes the opening song, 'Aiyo Shivane', as a journey across Udupi, Mangaluru, Srirangapatna, Chitradurga, and the Vani Vilasa Sagar dam. “We had to travel extensively to bring the song’s world to life,” he says. Sung by Jaskaran Singh, the voice behind 'Dwapara' song from Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, and Prithvi Bhatt, the track carries a vibrant feel.

The filmmaker also notes how Cult moves away from formulaic storytelling. “This film is designed for a new generation, blending action and romance with a fresh visual style.”

Produced under Loki Cinemas and supported by KVN Productions, Cult is pitched as a mix of rugged mass appeal and youthful energy. For Zaid Khan, it marks his second lead role after Banaras.

With cinematography by Jagadish Wali, editing by KM Prakash, and choreography by Santosh Sekar, Cult has stunt design by Ravi Varma.
