The festive season brings an announcement from filmmaker Chetan Keshav, who has officially revealed the title of his upcoming film I Am Ruby. Produced by Dr Shivegowda CY and B Mahadev, the producers behind Chingari, under the banner Aashraya Creations, the film’s first-look poster was also released, offering audiences a glimpse of the project.

This marks Chetan Keshav’s second directorial venture following his debut with Love Li starring Vasishtha Simha. I Am Ruby introduces Aakash, a newcomer from Mysuru with experience in stage drama productions, in the lead role, while Bhumika Ramesh, who became a household name on the small screen with Lakshmi Baramma, makes her transition to films as the female lead. The makers released a poster highlighting the film’s focus on family-oriented storytelling, featuring both fresh talent and seasoned actors.

Chetan Keshav has written and directed the film, also handling the story, screenplay, and dialogues, ensuring a cohesive creative vision. The technical team includes Anoop Seelin as music composer, Ashwin Kennedy as director of photography, Mahesh Togate on editing, and Pratap R Menden in charge of art direction. Action sequences are choreographed by Dr. K Ravivarma and Dileep M Raj.

Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in December.
