People-friendly app 'PRK' to honour Puneeth Rajkumar's legacy

October 29 marks four years since the untimely passing of beloved Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Affectionately known as Appu, Puneeth continues to hold a special place in the hearts of Kannadigas, with his films, songs, and persona remaining part of daily life. To commemorate his legacy, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar is set to launch a mobile application, 'PRK,' on the same day, bringing his memory closer to fans in a modern, interactive way.

The app has been developed with a dedicated team and is designed to celebrate Puneeth’s cinematic journey while also highlighting his remarkable personality, humanitarian work, and philanthropic initiatives. It is expected to include detailed information about his films, life, achievements, and contributions to society. The app is also expected to feature sections dedicated to organ donation, education, healthcare initiatives, and other social services associated with his legacy. Full details of the app’s features will be shared after its official launch.

The launch event will see Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar in attendance, along with Puneeth’s brothers, Shivarajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar.

Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on October 29, 2021, due to a heart-related condition. His memorial at Kanteerava Studios continues to attract thousands of fans each year on his birthday and death anniversary, who come to pay their respects and participate in social initiatives inspired by him.

Through this app, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar aims to ensure that Puneeth’s talent, service, and inspiration continue to reach people of all generations.
