Green, a psychological mind-bending thriller, has already made waves on the festival circuit, bagging 19 awards at national and international festivals even before hitting theatres. The film's tagline, 'Monster in You', hints at its dark psychological core. Written and directed by Raj Vijay, it is now set for a release across Karnataka on October 23.

Recently, Shivarajkumar unveiled the film’s trailer and wished the entire team great success.

“We’ve all heard of the Green Revolution, and I hope this Green sparks one in Kannada cinema,” says Raj Vijay with quiet confidence. A VFX expert-turned-filmmaker, he describes his debut as a layered, psychological thriller that challenges perceptions. “Green explores the battle between man and his inner demons. It’s set largely in a forest near Ooty and includes 22 minutes of special effects. It’s a film meant for every kind of viewer.”

Presented by Nishanth Ennen’s Gunadya Productions, the film is produced by Raj Vijay and BN Swamy. The cast includes Balaji Manohar, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, RJ Vicky, and several others in key roles.

Nishanth, who is presenting the film, shares, “I was blown away by the film. The last fifteen minutes are absolutely unpredictable — that’s what convinced me to support this project.”

The supporting cast features Shiva Manju, Vishwanath, Dimpy Fadia, along with contributions from cinematographer Madhusudan and music director Shakti Sak.
