Vijay, who made his directorial debut with Geetha starring Ganesh and later directed Gurudev Hoysala featuring Dhananjay, has now completed the shoot for his third project, Alpha: Men Love Violence. Produced under the banner of LA Productions, the film is set to be an action thriller.

The film introduces Hemanth Kumar as the protagonist, stepping into the spotlight through Alpha. He is joined by Gopika Suresh and Ayana as the female leads, while Bigg Boss-fame Karthik Mahesh makes a special appearance as an antagonist. The ensemble cast also includes Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ramesh Indira, Balu Nagendra, Mansi Sudhir, Giriraj, and Raghu Shivamogga in pivotal roles.

Shot extensively across Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and Malur, covering more than 70 days of filming, the dubbing work is currently underway for Alpha.

The film’s music is composed by J Anoop Seelin, featuring five songs written by lyricist Nagarjuna Sharma. The technical crew includes Karthik S as cinematographer, Deepu S Kumar as editor, Champakadhama Babu as production controller, Amar heading the art department, and Bhushan designing choreography. Popular dialogue writer Maasti has penned the lines, while the action sequences are choreographed by Vijay himself along with Vinod, Arjun Raj, and Yogananda.

Director Vijay, known for balancing strong storytelling with commercial appeal, appears to be delving into darker shades of masculinity and action through Alpha: Men Love Violence. The recently released first poster drew attention for its gritty tone and striking visuals. The teaser and songs are expected to be unveiled soon, with the makers likely to announce the release date shortly.
