Director Vijay N, known for his films Geetha and Hoysala, is currently helming his third venture titled Alpha. The action drama, which marks the acting debut of Hemanth Kumar, has already completed 60 per cent of its shoot and is progressing steadily. While the lead has been revealed, the rest of the cast has been kept under wraps until now.
Cinema Express has learned that Karthik Mahesh, the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 and star of Dollu, has been roped in for a prominent role. Karthik, who is currently filming Richie Rich with director Suni under AVR Entertainment, is said to face off with Hemanth Kumar in the action-heavy Alpha.
The film, with the tagline "Men Love Violence," explores the intense bond between a father and son, set against a gritty backdrop of crime and vengeance. Hemanth Kumar is expected to appear in a rugged new avatar, and it is to be known what is in store for Karthik Mahesh in Vijay's film.
