He is set to host the 12th season of the Colors Kannada show and three more seasons, revealed its organisers through a presser on Monday. At today's press conference, Sudeep attributed his decision to the audience's admiration for his work as the show's host that prompted the organisers to ask him to revert his initial call. After Sudeep announced it in January, fans responded with shock, disappointment, and sadness as he had become synonymous with Bigg Boss Kannada. Many expressed that the show would not be the same without him and conveyed their gratitude for his long tenure.
