Chikkanna’s new look in Lakshmiputra poster hints at heartfelt drama

Chikkanna, who made a successful transition to lead roles with Upadhyaksha, is all set to captivate audiences once again in his upcoming film Lakshmiputra. A newly released poster features him in traditional attire, wearing glasses and exuding a mature, grounded presence—hinting at the film’s heartfelt tone. This marks Chikkanna’s second outing as a lead actor and has already generated excitement among his fans.

Lakshmiputra is directed by Vijay S Swamy and revolves around the bond between a mother and her son, with actor Tara playing the pivotal role of the mother. The story and screenplay are written by AP Arjun, who has also co-written the dialogues along with Prashanth Rajappa and Vijay Ishwar. In addition to his writing contributions, Arjun is producing the film under his banner, AP Arjun Films, along with his wife Annapurna Arjun. The film is co-produced by Ravi Kiran Gowda.

The film's action sequences are choreographed by Ravi Verma, cinematography is by Girish R Gowda, and the music is composed by Arjun Janya. Lakshmiputra also features Dharmanna Kadur and Kuri Prathap in important supporting roles.
