Everyone from MK Stalin to Shivarajkumar congratulated the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on a triumphant IPL campaign after their win over Punjab Kings at Ahmedabad yesterday. Stalin called the final "A thrilling end to a season full of surprises" and highlighted the end to RCB player Virat Kohli's long wait for the title. "The crown truly suits you, King Kohli," wrote the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. The CM also called for a "strong comeback" from the local team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) next season.

On the other hand, Shivarajkumar, a former RCB brand ambassador, who conveyed his best wishes to the team before the final, wrote, "The Champions of Heart are now the owners of the cup. Congratulations RCB."

Allu Arjun used the popular catchphrase "Ee sala cup namde" and shared a clip of his son Ayaan celebrating RCB's victory ecstatically. On the other hand, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri stars Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan shared a video showing an emotional Kohli, with the text, "Finally, Jersey NO 18 after 18 years."

Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Rashmika Mandanna, and Vijay Deverakonda also congratulated RCB on the achievement.
