The recent development from the makers of Prajwal Devaraj's Rakshasa is that the film will also have its Telugu version getting released along with the original Kannada version in theatres on February 26, on occasion of Shivaratri. Apparently, MVR Krishna, who previously distributed Shivarajkumar's Vedha, liked the trailer of Rakshasa, watched the film, and decided to distribute it in Andhra Pradesh.

A time-loop horror film directed by Lohit H, Rakshasa features Prajwal Devaraj in a fresh blend of horror. Prajwal portrays the role of a father trapped in a ceaseless cycle, desperately fighting to protect his child from an unknown and terrifying force. Produced by Deepu BS, Naveen Gowda, and Manasa under Shanvi Enterprises, the film's cast includes Arun Rathod, Sridhar, Gautam, Somashekar, and Vihaan Krishna. The film has music by Nobin Paul and cinematography by Jaybin P Jacob.
