Bheema, which had a successful theatrical run, is now streaming on Prime Video. The action drama was released on August 9, directed by and starring Vijay Kumar. Set against the backdrop of metropolitan Bengaluru, Bheema delves into the dark reality of the city’s drug underworld.

Vijay's portrayal of the protagonist—intense, raw, and unfiltered—resonated strongly with fans. The film’s exploration of societal issues, combined with high-octane action sequences, brought crowds back to theatres—an achievement that has been rare for the Kannada film industry in recent months, and also marked a significant success at the box office.

Building on the success of Bheema, Vijay Kumar, who is currently shooting for VK 29, directed by Jadeshaa K Hampi, has already teased his next project, tentatively titled VK 30. This film will be helmed by his frequent collaborator, Thambi. Vijay also confirmed that this project will precede the planned sequels to both Bheema and Salaga.
