Yuvarajkumar, who marked his debut with Santhosh Ananddram, is gearing up for his second film, officially titled EKKA. Directed by Rohit Padaki, the title was unveiled on Friday in celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava, reflecting the pride and spirit of Karnataka.

EKKA is backed by three prominent production houses: Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar's PRK Productions, Jayanna and Bhogendra's Jayanna Films, and Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj's KRG Studios.

According to the filmmakers, EKKA promises to be a gripping tale that delves into the life of a man ensnared in the dark and gritty world of Bengaluru's underbelly. The film combines intense action with deep emotional undercurrents.

On the technical front, composer Charan Raj—celebrated for his work on hits like Sapta Sagaradaache Ello and Bheema—has been brought on board to create the musical score for EKKA. Cinematography will be handled by Satya Hegde, while Deepu S Kumar will take care of editing, and production design will be managed by Vishwas Kashyap.

The team is set to commence filming on November 28, with an anticipated release date in mid-2025.
