The inspiring life of Mother Teresa, primarily known for her charity work for the poor and destitute, is the subject of a new web series. Writer John Paul and director P Chandrakumar have spent three years gathering details for this project, which is now in production. Chandrashekar, known for his work in Malayalam and Hindi cinema, is producing this pan-India series. This marks Chandrakumar’s first venture in Kannada cinema, adding to his repertoire of 150 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The story begins with Mother Teresa’s childhood, and auditions are underway to find fresh talent for the roles. The team is searching for a young actor to portray Young Teresa. They also plan to explore locations significant to her life across India. The series will span 30 episodes with a duration of 45 minutes across three seasons, with 10 episodes slated for release in June. Cinematography is handled by P Sukumar, while Jaree Amaradeva is composing the music for the webseries. The series stars Anita Menon, Tanima Menon, and Sapi Kaur.
