Celebrities fall for death hoax is not common, and the latest to be affected by this is actor and politician Divya Spandana. On Wednesday morning, rumours circulated that Divya Spandana, who has worked in Kannada and Tamil films, has died after suffering a heart attack. Several accounts took to social media X (formerly Twitter) to carry the news and paid condolences to the actor.

However, Dhanya Rajendran of The News Minute, confirmed that the actor is doing fine and is currently at Geneva, thus debunking the false news. Further, the actor also replied to a post in which she is seen dining with a friend in Geneva. "See you in namma uru soon!" the actor replied to the post on Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Divya's last full-fledged film was the 2016 Kannada epic fantasy film Nagarahavu. Most recently, the actor made a cameo appearance in the successful hit film Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare.
