Vinay Rajkumar's Gramayana, which recently got a relaunch, has an interesting group of actors. While Megha Shetty has been chosen to portray the female lead,  the film also stars Yogi in a pivotal role. Gramayana, which marks the directorial debut of Devanuru Chandru, is all set to go on floors in Devanuru on October 6.

"I have known Yogi for the past 15 years, and when I approached him for Gramayana, he warmly embraced the opportunity to be part of the project. Throughout his career, Yogi has consistently stood out for his multifaceted roles, beginning with Duniya and continuing with diverse performances in films like Ambari, Sidlingu, Naanu, Adu Mathu Saroja, and his latest, Head Bush. He is an actor known for his versatility and the ability to surprise audiences with his on-screen characters.  When it comes to Gramayana, I can't confine him to a specific role, be it an antagonist or a supporting character, but he will be seen in a distinctive character. Yogi is aware of the entire script of Gramyana and is enthusiastic about his role in the principal cast. I can confidently say that his presence in our film will be truly unique," says Devanuru Chandru.

The film is now backed by G Manoharan of Lahari Films and KP Sreekanth of Venus Entertainers, with Poornachandra Tejaswi handling the music composition. Yashwini Anchan will be handling the cinematography, and the art direction will be taken care of by Shivakumar.

Set against a rural backdrop, with Vinay portraying a village youth, Gramayana will also feature noted actors Aparna and Gopalkrishna Deshpande in prominent roles.
