With almost 90 per cent of the shooting completed, Deepak Gangadhar’s directorial debut Love Me or Hate Me, starring Krishna and Rachita Ram, is in its last leg of filming. A couple of songs are expected to be shot in June.

Love Me or Hate Me marks the first collaboration between Krishna and Rachita, and the film also features Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 winner and actor, Roopesh Shetty in a prominent role.

Love Me or Hate Me is set against the backdrop of an MBA college, and Deepak describes the film as a lighthearted love story. “Since this is my first film, I took it up a little slowly, and that caused some delays. However, I didn’t find it too difficult in the making because I had a talented and experienced cast like Krishna and Rachita Ram, along with Roopesh Shetty. The film was shot in unique locations in Bengaluru, Sirsi, and Chikmagalur and had experienced technicians like Santhosh Rai Pathaje handling the cinematography, which made the process smooth. It was a good cinematic experience,” says Deepak.

Director Deepak Gangadhar

The title Love Me or Hate Me is derived from the famous timeless song from Dr. Rajkumar’s film Shankar Guru. The cast also includes Rakesh Poojari, Ramesh Bhat, and Veena Sundar among others. The film is jointly produced by Deepak Gangadhar, Sunil BN Madan Gangadhar, and Chandan.

Love Me or Hate Me’s music is composed by Sridhar Sambhram and Nakul Abyankar. Currently, the project is in post-production, and the team is aiming for a September release.
