Ugramm actor Tilak Shekar has been busy shooting for his latest film, Vagarah, and is quite excited about the same. “I have previously appeared in a cop character, but this police officer role has an interesting characterisation, which is written by Ashutosh Pawar,” says Tilak, adding, “The film’s plot revolves around an intense showdown between a narcotics team and police department.”

Tilak expresses his elation in working with a new team, who are attempting a new genre and are successful in the execution too. “Today’s generation is not focusing on commercial aspects. They don’t resort to cliches and hope to offer something new. I believe filmmaking has changed a lot, and there is no tried-and-tested formula anymore,” says the actor, who notes that today’s makers are experimenting with realistic subjects.

Titled Vagarah, which means a lone wolf also has Ashutosh doubling up as a producer and he will be making the project under the Ashutosh Pawan Mediaverse.

While Anoop Seelin is scoring the music, Mufti-fame Naveen Kumar will be handling the cinematography for the mafia-police drama.

Apart from this project, Tilak also has a sci-fi film, Dvandva and Gangster Alla Prankster in various stages of production.
