Biradar’s first commercial outing, 90 Bidi Maneg Nadi set for a release soon

Inspired by Gandhiji’s words on the ill effects of alcohol, the director duo of Nagaraj Arehole and Umesh Badardinni, have helmed their upcoming film, 90 Bidi Maneg Nadi. The film stars Vijnath Biradar in the lead role, marking his first commercial outing at 70.

Biradar, a veteran actor known for his acclaimed performance in Kanasembo Kudureyaneri, has garnered international recognition and awards.

The filming of 90 Bidi Maneg Nadi has been completed. The title track, which was out on Monday, is composed by Kiran Shankar, has lyrics by Dr V Nagendra Prasad, and vocals by Rajesh Krishnan.
Aiming for a month-end release, or possibly in the first week of July, the makers plan to unveil the trailer on June 17.

Set against a village backdrop in Uttara Karnataka, 90 Bidi Maneg Nadi is a comedy-crime thriller that explores the impact of alcohol consumption and gambling. The story revolves around Siddalingu, who brings to life the plight of a prostitute in society, aiming to shed light on society’s cynicism and the struggles faced by four miscreants.

The film also features Kari Subbu, Prashant Siddi, Neeta Maindargi, and Preethu Pooja in pivotal roles. While Krishna Naikar has handled the cinematography, the background score is by Veer Samarth.
