Here's when the trailer of Prabhas' Saalar is set to drop

Following the massive response to the teaser of Salaar, the makers of the film released a gratitude statement. They also announced that the trailer of the film will be released by the end of August. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel. Salaar will hit the theatres on September 28.

The teaser revealed that Salaar is a two-part film, with the first part titled Part 1 - Ceasefire. While Prabhas plays the role of the titular character Salaar, Prithviraj Sukumaran's character is called Varadaraja Mannaar, the antagonist. The film is a Kannada-Telugu bilingual, which will also be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. Shruti Haasan is the female lead, with Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Ramachandra Raju, Garuda Ram, and Tinnu Anand essaying supporting roles.
