Veteran Kannada actor Lakshman dies

Actor Lakshman, who has worked in the Kannada industry, died after suffering a heart attack at his residence in Bengaluru on Sunday night.

He was 74.

Lakshman had complained of chest pains on Sunday night and was rushed to the hospital. After taking ECG tests, he was brought back. However, the veteran actor died after suffering a massive heart attack in the wee hours of Monday.

Having acted in more than 200 films in Kannada, Lakshman has shined as a senior artist and acted in various roles. He has shared the screen space with Rajkumar, late Ambareesh, late Vishnuvardhan, late Shankar Nag and others.
