Mohan Muninarayanapa, who initially began as an ad filmmaker, has worked as an associate with Mada Gaja director Mahesh Kumar, and Murphy director Pradeep Varma. Mohan is now set to make his directorial debut with Dollarspete. 

Billing his debut as a dark comedy thriller revolving around a bank, Mohan says, The entire film is set in a fictional area called Dollarspete, where the protagonist loses his cash."

The film brings together some interesting actors including Sowmya Jaganmurthy, Akarsh Kamala, Kushal S, and Venkat Raj in the lead. Dollarspete also features Pruthvi Ambaar in a special appearance, and the director shared a few stills from the film with CE. 

"We have completed shooting, and the film is now in the post-production stage. We are working on the film's teaser too," he says. 

Dollarspete will have music and background score by Suraj Jois, and cinematography by Anand Sundaresha
