You raised me not only as an actor and a star but also as your son: Shivarajkumar

A Sharadhaa

It has been 37 years since Shivarajkumar, the hattrick hero of Chandanavana, started his acting career. From Anand (February 19, 1986) to Vedha, (December 23, 2023) the veteran of 125 films continues to be one of the busiest actors in the industry. The Century Star celebrated 37 years in cinema on February 19.

Having seen many successes and failures, and earning millions of fans, Shivarajkumar penned a heartfelt note thanking his fans, family members and crores of Kannadigas for showing him love for so many years.

"It has been 37 years since I made my debut in Kannada cinema. The first scene of the movie Anand is still captivating. From Anand to Vedha, the love you have given is priceless. You raised me not only as an actor, and a star but also as your son. Infinite thanks to the fans, media friends, seniors, juniors, colleagues and my entire family, who are the form of God," he wrote.

The Century star will soon resume shooting for Ghost, directed by Srini, in Mysore soon. The actor also has been simultaneously shooting for Yogaraj Bhat’s Karnataka Dhamanaka. His lineup includes music composer-turned-director Arjun Janya's 45, and Narthan's Bhairathi Ranagal.

Shivarajkumar is also making his presence felt in Tamil and Telugu by starring in Dhanush's Captain Miller, Rajinikanth's JAiler, and he is also reportedly part of Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming project.
