Akira director Naveen Reddy’s next stars Rangayana Raghu and Sampath Maitreya

Naveen Reddy, known for directing Akira and Relax Satya, has wrapped up shooting for his third film. Titled Moorane Krishnappa stars acclaimed artists Rangayana Raghu and Sampath Maitreya as leads and Sripriya as the heroine.

Moorane Krishnappa, which is currently in post-production, is billed as a comical tale centred on a village temple inauguration, reflecting Anekal’s cultural essence. The film also features Ugramm Manju and Tukali Santhau in supporting roles.

Produced by Mohan Reddy and Ravishankar’s Red Dragon Films, the movie has music by Anand Rajavikram and Suprith Sharma, and cinematography by Yogi. The team aims for a February release.
