It has been announced that Ajay Rao will collaborate with Rangitaranga producer HK Prakash for a thriller, titled Bank of Bhagyalakshmi. The story will also have elements of comedy.

Abhishek, who has previously worked as an associate with director Suni, will make his directorial debut with the project. An official announcement regarding the project was made along with an intriguing poster.
The first-time director has woven the story around a bank robbery and has plans to begin shooting in January 2023.

Bank of Bhagyalakshmi will mark the producer's 5th film under his banner, Sridevi Entertainers. The film will have music by Judah Sandy and cinematography by Abhishek G Kasaragod. The film's editing will be handled by Tejas R while Raghu is heading the art department.

In addition to Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, Ajay has a project with director Manju Swaraj, which is expected to go on floors in November. The actor will also be joining forces with Cutting Shop filmmaker Pavan Bhat soon.
