Prithviraj is all praise for the new Kannada film Kantara. The actor recently put out a Tweet calling the film a “glorious cinematic masterpiece.” Prithviraj then went on to call the director-writer of the film Rishab Shetty a genius. Apart from writing and directing Kantara, Rishab Shetty also played a central character in the film. After thanking Hombale Films for producing the film and for coming up with great content, the actor ended the Tweet by saying, “Brace for a beyond spectacular last 20 minutes.”

Earlier today, actor Kichcha Sudeep also appreciated the film through a note. He writes, "We do witness films that are good and fantastic. But rarely do we come across one that leaves us speechless. Kantara is one such film that left a huge impact. A simple plot, exceptionally well written and fantastically conceived."  

Kantara is an action-thriller with supernatural elements, it talks about the human-nature relationship and how they are both deeply intertwined. Rishab Shetty plays a Kambala player who is at loggerheads with a forest officer. The cast of the film also includes Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, and Sapthami Gowda.

 Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently shooting his portions for Prabhas’ upcoming film Salaar.
