Actors Rajinikanth and Jr NTR have arrived in Bangalore to attend the Karnataka Ratna ceremony, where the award will be presented to late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar. The arrival of the Tamil and Telugu stars have excited their fans and the supporters of Puneeth, and they have begun trending the hashtag #NTRajiniforAppu to show their support.
Both the actors had expressed their eagerness to attend the event and showcase their love for the late Kannada superstar.
The Karnataka Ratna award will be bestowed on Puneeth Rajkumar on November 1 at 4 pm.
The event will take place on the steps of Vidhana Soudha where renowned singer Vijay Prakash and his team have organised a musical event. About 5,000 passes have been sold for the event.
On the work front, Rajinikanth has Nelson's Jailer in the lineup. While Jr NTR has a film with Kortala Siva and project with Prashanth Neel.
