Kannada actor Diganth, popularly known as Doodhpeda, was airlifted from Manipal hospital in Goa to its branch in Bengaluru on Tuesday after he reportedly suffered injuries in his backbone.

According to sources, he was on a vacation in Goa with his wife Aindritha Rai. Diganth, who is into fitness and adventure sports, is said to have hurt himself while somersaulting.

Initially, Diganth was reportedly admitted to Manipal hospital in Goa. However, he was later airlifted and brought to Manipal hospital in Bengaluru. 

However, the actor and his wife are unavailable to comment on the reports. On the other hand, the doctors are yet to give an exact update on his health condition.

It should be noted that a few years ago his right eye was injured during a movie shoot.
