Nammamma Super Star contestant Samanvi dies in road accident 

Samanvi's last rites were held on Friday

6-year-old Samanvi, a contestant in the reality show Nammamma Super Star, died in a road accident on January 13.

The tragic incident occurred in Konanakunte Cross near JP Nagar on Thursday evening when a speeding truck crashed into the scooter she and her mother Amrutha Naidu were travelling in. While the mother survived with severe wounds, Samanvi got fatally injured. Her last rites were held on Friday.

Amrutha is the daughter of famous Harikathe singer Gururajulu Naidu. The mother-daughter duo came to the limelight with the reality show, which is aired on Colors Kannada. Two weeks ago, Amrutha had decided to voluntarily get evicted from the show as she was in her second trimester of pregnancy.
